Given how many "bots" now seems to be AI related I'm happy for them to stay well away from my forum!!
A few days ago we had 160 "guest" logins from facebookexternalhit bot.
Google is no better and constantly bombarding our forum with 4-5 per day but not complying with robots.txt and now MSFT is getting more active.
As these are forums and the discussions often include incorrect information, I'd rather that AI wasn't using it to generate their answers as it could be misleading and in some cases dangerous. At least with it contained in our forum we can correct it.
Just checked this forum and it only had 17 Bots and 539 guests!! (And can bots really access the User Control Panel and "write" to forums?)
