Since more than a week my site (phpBB 3.3.14, PHP 8.4.8)has become regularly unavailable. Problem is that the number of entry processes is exceeded (> 40).
According to my provider the number of visitors is the reason for that. Usually there are around 200 guests and a couple of registered users, not too many I would think and not more than usually.
I banned some bots and countries, ugraded to a better package, but to no avail.
When the site is down I see these entries in the errorlog:
Anyone an idea what could cause these errors and outages?
