But no this was totally different but i wanted to share to help others.
As to the SMTP issue. Awhile back i was trying to learn how to set up custom email filters on the VPS and i created one but it had a bad command in it and so it stopped email even though it was disabled. It appears that i had 2 issues with the SMTP, one is the disabled custom filter was blocking the email and the second issue was they had to restart lfd csf because the firewall was not showing correctly (whatever that means), not sure what happened with that part because every time i make a change to the firewall i restart it and also i had just done a system reboot before they went in to look at it. They told me everything was correct they just had to restart it, wierd. But anyway that is what i was told. So just be aware that disabled custom email filters can still effect email if there is a bad command inside. Cost me $15 but worth every penny, the issue has been resolved.
