[3.3.x] Support Forum • Will MySQL 8 run on phpBB version 3.3.4

Hello Anyone,

My web hosting service is going to elevate my current server software from OS Centos to OS AlmaLinux very soon and I do not have time to update my current phpbb version to the latest.

OS AlmaLinux runs MySQL 8 and I would like to confirm that phpbb 3.3.4 will run OK when they make the elevation. My PHP is running 7.4 which is fine for the update. I just want to make sure MYSQL 8 will work with phpbb 3.3.4 version? Should I have any concerns? Or should this be OK?
